Prerequisites

• A PlayDST account
• If you plan to host servers: a VPS or managed node and permission to install the PlayDST agent

Path A: Join and play

1. Browse public servers and communities from the Community page.
2. Follow a community to get updates, or join to participate.
3. Join a playable server and start playing.

Path B: Host your own server

1. Create a community to organize your servers and members.
2. Add a node and connect it with the PlayDST agent.
3. Create a server, choose a game, and apply defaults.
4. Adjust settings and mods as needed, then go live.
5. Share your server publicly or keep it within your community.

Advanced: Run a community

1. Invite members and assign roles to spread responsibilities.
2. Create multiple servers across nodes or regions.
3. Use discussions to coordinate events and gather feedback.
